LUNAR has a whole new meaning for us. After the classroom session Capt. Gardner's staff got the course ready for us and we were truly put through our paces.

                                    STRUCTURAL COLLAPSE SIMULATOR

Our thanks goes out to Capt. Gardner and all the firefighters that helped us to improve our skills. Some of the Willingboro members enjoyed their participation in the training session more than others, (OD & Ty). I have a lot of personal connections to the WFD. Im not sure if it was welcome back or payback time for some of my good friends. But thats how we trained in the WFD. Train hard, play hard your life depends on it. In addition and huge thanks goes out to Chief of Department Anthony Burnett for allowing his staff to train us on such an emotional day.

Rest In Peace Chief Norm Cheeseman, past Chief of Department and 45 year active member of the WFD..  Who was buried in the morning with full Fire Department Honors.

Please Support Our Heroes

On July 4, 2002, a house fire in Gloucester City, New Jersey suddenly collapsed, tragically claiming the lives of three young children and three brave firefighters who valiantly tried to save them.  Two of these men, James E. Sylvester and John D. West Sr. were more than just firefighters.  They were well known and respected residents of the borough of Mount Ephraim.

A memorial will be constructed on the corner of West Kings Highway and Station Avenue in Mount Ephraim to commemorate their lives and the dedication they gave to the community.  The Sylvester and West Memorial Committee is asking for your help by making a donation or purchasing an engraved brick along the memorial’s walkway of honor.  All funds collected are for the sole purpose of building and maintaining this memorial.  Thank you for your consideration and generosity
